Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
This university is great academically depending on your major. although it is predominately a school of criminal justice majors, youd be surprised to find out that most cj majors complained about the lack of work they had and how little they were actually learning for 48 grand a year. however, i am a marine biology major and i actually found the classes to be pretty rewarding and demanding. however, this is the life of a science major at any school.

this all being said, no matter what your major is this school is ridiculously expensive. almost every single student at this school depends on the same academic scholarship which requires them to maintain a 3.0 average. and even with this scholarship, most are still taking out 10,000 dollar loans every year. its insanity.

if youre thinking of living on campus—im not sure if i would recommend it. i lived in the oldest dorm building on campus, and it wasnt too bad when the power wasnt shorting out or the showers werent ice cold. unless you have one of the very few lenient RAs, they will be up your ass without a doubt. the RAs here take their jobs way too seriously, and i cant even count on one hand how many friends ive had get written up or transported for being drunk. however, living on campus is a great way to meet people and its nice how close to your classes you are.

to put it simply, if youre trying to party this is not the school for you. it is not. all the parties pretty much completely suck, and youll see the same exact people at every single one you go to. i guess the clubs are terrible, but when you come back after getting trashed downtown goodluck getting past all of the RAs and cops without getting into any trouble.

the campus food isnt horrible, but you are going to get sick of it by the time the year is over. there arent very many places to eat, and the food served in the dining hall is mediocre at best.

overall, i would not come back to this school. i met some pretty awesome friends, but its unfortunate that only life half of them are going to be coming back next year because of how this university is compared to most others. ill still be there next year, living off campus with some friends. however, i am more than likely transferring after this upcoming year otherwise ill probably be paying back loans for the rest of my life just so i could attend an alright college.
