I recently spoke with Triangle Tech about their HVAC program. It seemed like a good program until he got to the cost. About 34,000 for a year and a half! What?! Medical school is cheaper when you factor in the years. How can any trade school charge that much! What a shame that during hard economic times they want to try and gouge kids out of so much money. Luckily, I found that I can get the same credentials from an other trade school for about 7k for the whole program or go to a community college that offers an associate degree in HVACR for even less then that. Do your homework. It's certainly not worth the price.
