Major: Education (This Major's Salary over time)
Town is small, but there are plenty of bars and house parties for students to enjoy on weekends. About a 1 hour drive from Albany (the state capital) and Binghamton, a city of about 50,000. You need to have a high school GPA of about a 89-91 to be accepted into this school, yet some of the students don't seem too smart. It's a mixed group, some really smart and dedicated students with 4.0 GPAs and some students who are scraping by with a 4.0. Plenty of opportunities to get involved. The freshman dorms are all brand new and very nice. The colleges staff are very knowledgeable and friendly, with the exception of the rude employees at the parking office and the clueless Residential Life employees. The Residence Hall Managers here think they are supreme court judges, and are very strict with enforcing rules. You will get probation for a year if your music is too loud. Some classes are easy, some very hard…all depends on the professor. Overall, I had a great time as a student here. Super easy to make friends, decent foods and decent dorms. Town with alot of fun places to hang out, horrific weather and alot of cool college students. Go here. You will have the best 4 years of your life.
