I'm a now a sophomore next fall at Millersville. Honestly its a ok school. But if your thinking you can have the ideal college experience here, NOPE think again. Millersville is by statistics, is exactly advertised. A small school in a small town. If your here to get a education and you take college reputability in too consideration, then YES, Millersville is the TOP #1 state school in PA. But, the social life here sucks. People are a bit close minded. Especially people from Western PA, like Pittsburgh, etc. They tend to be more close-minded, some are a bit racist and prejudice depending on the small town they are from.

There are a few rich stuck up kids from around PA/Out of State, but that's at any college you go too. Yes sadly there are cliques here at MU. All the kids on Club/Varsity hangout/stick together. Usually party houses are called by the sport. The "Football house", "Soccer House" etc. YOU HAVE TO KNOW people on the team to go to there parties, or you will feel outcasted. Trust me!

Me, I am a African American Male. Who grew up in Lancaster City. I did not have the best grades/SAT but I got into Millersville base on them needing to achieve a certain quota of Minorities. Millersville tends to get kids from my High School J.P McCaskey in Lancaster and TONS of inner-city kids from Philly. THAT RIGHT THERE, creates cliques. As a few of these kids are intimidated/do not want to mesh with whites on campus. But don't get me wrong, Millersville diversity is way better than some of the other State schools in PA. I see a lot of interracial dating/ interaction.

I came to Millersville because it gave me the best opportunity to become a walk-on for the Mens Track&Field team. The coach reach out to me, etc. THAT BEING SAID. MY freshman year was the worst because Millersville drop there mens track&field team. As we are the most under-funded sport, but anyways it was a face-saving political move because the Athletic Administration sucks/ are run by idiots. Millersville has no school spirit when it comes to sports. Millersville does not fund its athletics properly compared to other schools. Most kids here hardly get scholarship money and are simple recruits.

Just as I join the Track team, made some friends and etc. Starting enjoy my experience at Millersville. The overall administration ruin my experience that comes along with learning and continues to ruin other students.

The goods of Millersville: Education Majors, Soccer Team, Baseball Team, Campus Aesthetic, A few good teachers,

THE BAD: FOOTBALL TEAM SUCKS!!!!!LITERALLY SUCKS, Poor Adminstration, Small Town, 70%% Of STUDENTS COMMUTE= GHOST TOWN, KIDS WHO LIVE ON CAMPUS, goes home ANYWAYS!

Personally I still want to run track&field and get away from home. Since most kids commute at Millersville, theres not much of that social college experience. I hope this help, but honestly unless your a education major, dont come to Millersville. … I will be transferring!
