I
wouldn't attend the mathematics program in any school again.
First job interview I had, I told the interviewer I
dropped out of EE and became a math major.
He told me, “Too bad you didn't stay in EE."
People at work are graduates of biology and microbiology at
UNH. Life Sciences seems to be respected, but not
math. I took physics and hated it, but enjoyed
math. The physics professors could barely dress themselves.
Wearing plaid with plaid and displaying their photo in the
hall to identify themselves - wow.
I met a woman
from my undergrad class who was working at a supermarket
as a cashier recently.
One close relative attended business school
and did well. My relatives from New Hampshire didn't
attend UNH. Maybe because I got a math degree
and couldn't find work.
