Sacramento State is a great school. I gave negative ratings on facilities because if you go there, you will see some classrooms and lecture halls are so incredibly trashed and uncared for, it is hard to believe we pay $4000 a semester for them. The food on campus is a very large variety, how ever it is SO EXPENSIVE. For instance, Panda Express and Burger King will charge higher prices than they would at a normal franchise - be forewarned! The dorms are ridiculously old & out of date also. Two of the buildings are "temp" buildings from the 1970s, and have yet to be demolished, while the other three are from the 1960s, and are just so RUN DOWN. They keep saying they will build new housing facilities, but they don't. The dorm life sort of sucks too. There's no "party" or even "college" atmosphere there, it's just a couple thousand students living on campus, being babied by the RAs. The DC isn't too bad, they just completely remodeled it, and it's gotten a lot better my two years there.

Just a warning to anyone considering Sac State (or any CSU), you WILL NOT graduate in 4 years. Sac State does NOT offer enough classes (or make the classes big enough) to accommodate all of its students. To add insult to injury, they instated a 12 unit cap also, which makes it virtually impossible to graduate on time. No classes, small classes, and unit caps make it IMPOSSIBLE. GOOD LUCK.
