Major: Psychology (This Major's Salary over time)
As a returning student, UWM Psychology was a great experience. Faculty are very approachable and most truly care about their students. Other students are friendly and helpful. Finding really good guidance can be tricky, but it's out there.I rated safety as a "C" because it feels safe during the day, but as a semi-urban school it is important to be on your guard after dark. Milwaukee is a great city to explore, too.Clubs and organizations are available, but you have to seek them out.I did not live on campus, so I cannot speak to the quality of dorm life or general social life for fun.One thing I would let others know is that it is a very liberal university in many respects, sometimes ad nauseum and to the point of feeling the need to keep quiet if you see things differently (even for moderate liberals).Overall, a good school with a lot of opportunity.
