This is a very competitive Christian University that will prepare you for a job or grad school. I transferred in from another private univerity that was not preparing me and so was not really prepared for the high expectaions Harding had for me. Now even though it has been tough I feel like I am really prepared for medical school and I don't believe the other place would have prepared me. One thing that will really surprise you about this university is the great geographical diversity of the student body—they come from all over the nation. It seems like someone told me that only 25% of the students come from Arkansas. A lot come from Texas, Florida, California and Tennessee and the remainder of the states. A very large number of international students also come to Harding and everyone blends well together.
