This is a review and warning based on my first year experience here, particularly regarding school policies and the teachers. I was hospitalized with sepsis, which blood poisoning, that came about as a result of other infections that spread. It's a really serious illness that's treated in the Intensive Care Unit of hospitals. I left the hospital despite doctors' recommendations because my teacher refused to provide accommodations or even to respond to my e-mails, and the department head of the chemistry department stands by that choice. If you are looking for a fair school to go to that values the well-being of their students, do not come here. I took my two science final exams with one anti-viral prescription, three anti-bacterial prescriptions, and one prescription for a narcotic pain killer. It was really hard to even come to class with the compounded side effects of all of these extremely strong medications, but it was deal with this or fail the class.

I think this experience truly and fairly represents the university's values and their code of conduct. It is not ethical and it is not just, but it is the reality. Do not expect anything better.
