I'm curious - if you disliked the school so much, why didn't you transfer? |
Eventually, I did transfer. |
You were smart for transferring! So many people I know who deserve better than shitty OSU are forced to stay because of the convenience. I would like to add that OSU isn't even that pretty. |
Why are many students still studying so hard now? I didn't do anything at my age. But now I got rich on sports betting thanks to the site https://1xbetbookmaker-gh.com it's not luck, guys, it's pure tactics. |

There are a lot of positives and a lot of negatives about this school. I had a very mixed experience. First, there is SO MUCH to do on campus and in Columbus. You will seriously never be bored at OSU. Unfortunately this distracts from the academic purpose of the school. It's very easy to think of OSU as a football themed theme park. Football and the after parties are literally the soul of the school. OSU has fairly high academic ratings, but that is mostly because of the high level research going on with grad and PhD students. The undergrad education is about the same as you would find at the University of Toledo or Bowling Green, especially for the first two years. And of course everyone says that at OSU you are just a number. This is one hundred percent true. You get crammed into massive lecture halls with hundreds of other students where nobody interacts with the professors and the students just check out facebook. As long as they get that tuition check the school could not care less about how you are doing. If you need somebody to hold your hand OSU is about the worst school in the country to go to. And if you want good academics, you can get the same elsewhere for much cheaper. But if beer and football are what you want, then there is no better option than The Ohio State University.
