I have no idea why there are so many negative reviews of the school. From my experience, those who are most unhappy with Strayer are students who want to do the least amount of work possible to earn a degree (and often are the least prepared for the program). I found the quality of coursework to be excellent and the instructors to be outstanding - head and shoulders better than any other school I have attended. I graduated and was accepted into multiple prestigious master's programs. Strayer provides a fantastic opportunity for working adults to finish their education, advance their careers, or transition into a new field.
