Susquehanna is a particular school. Their positives are really positive (Beautiful campus, friendly students, good academics) and the negatives are really negative (little to do in the surrounding area, money grabbing at every possible chance). So it really depends on your personal interests if you have a good time or not. Are academics your primary concern? This school could work. Is experience your primary concern? ehhh… Is the social aspect your primary concern? This school probably won't work.

Partying? Well, if you don't party this may not work, if you do party, this may not work. The non partiers get bothered by the fact thats all people do here on weekends (cause there's little else to do). The partiers get bothered by the fact the parties aren't usually crazy enough. No one wins.

Academics is this schools strongest point. At least for me (and my major of 8 people in my class) the professors are always there if we need them by email, in-person, in class, whenever. Classes are actually useful not just busywork. Opportunities aplenty (half of my major got internships or jobs for the summer on campus that directly apply to our major).

Weakest point is the area. It really is in an isolated area. Although there is a stretch of rode that has a mall, movie theater, and plentiful shopping centers, the main street of Selinsgrove is small and insignificant and the immediate area surrounding Selinsgrove is nearly non-existant.

One underrated aspect of SU is clubs. There are clubs, lots of clubs. Maybe not as many as a larger university, but for a small one of about 2.5K students, there are a lot. You got sports clubs (I'm an ultimate frisbee guy myself), service work clubs, common interest clubs, activity clubs, charity clubs, etc. It's easy to start clubs, it's easy to run clubs, it's easy to join clubs. So if you like clubs, you GOT clubs.

All in all, its a good school that may be lacking if someone is looking for more than a good education.
