The university is focused on marketing to future students. Once you are in, they really could care less about how happy you are. For example, we had an awesome year of Baylor sports, and the main celebration wasn't for current students, but rather geared toward future students through campaigns like "come to Baylor because we win!" Unless you join an organization, you can pretty much bet that you wont be making many friends. Personally, I love the Christian environment, however I really dislike the judgmental nature of many of the suburban type students. Everything you do, say, act or think, will be judged by your fellow peers. Count on it. Overall, Baylor is a nice place. It's a beautiful campus with awesome academics and really should be a great college… but for some reason it just isn't. To me, it misses that X factor that all great colleges should have. I wouldn't discourage anyone from wanting to go there, but it just isn't my kind of place.
