Why do you say that "no one knows what the true statistics are"? It seems that they have ranges for accepted SAT and ACT information. Does that not qualify? Can you clarify? |
This person obviously has no idea what they're talking about. Yes, the SAT/ACT data was misrepresented…by a factor of 40 points, not the end of the world. In fact, it has been shown that it would not have made a difference in the university's rankings at all. This is one of those things that is being blown out of proportion. Emory continues to be a solid educational institution with world class academics, facilities, and reputation. |
Major: Philosophy (This Major's Salary over time)
Emory used to have a good reputation. Now, no one knows what the true statistics are. Since they lied about their academic prowess, they owe every student who enrolled during the time it misrepresented itself a refund of tuition and expenses. They should also pay for any student who wishes to transfer to a school with valid high criteria by paying the transfer student's tuition and expenses at the new school. Many people and their parents were misled by Emory's lies and may well have chosen the school based on those lies. They are entitled to remedy.
