GTCC is the third largest Community College in the state of North Carolina. Over the years I have taken many courses there and the instruction has with rare exception been exceptional. Having also attended larger universities, I have enjoyed the GTCC environment more in that they actually teach vs. lecturing without focusing on the art of instruction.

Granted it's a Community College, enabling people from and of all walks of life and ages an opportunity to pursue their goals. Serving the needs of individuals who simply want a GED, or may not have done well in high school…have the auspice to build and grow, potentially reaching for higher levels of learning. Or, gaining education toward a trade, that not only benefits them in their career pursuit, but the local society as well.

GTCC is a rare gem, and depending upon one's unique life experience/perspective… Some may not be enabled to see how great and how lucky we are to have such an institution as part of our local community.
