Wooster was not a good match for me. I was looking for a more open minded community—something that Wooster definitely is not. There is an enormous resurgence of bigotry both on campus and from the surrounding community. Racism is alive and well here. Wooster looks much better on paper than it is in reality. It may have been a great school at one time, but it falls short on many levels atthe present time. If you are interested in Wooster, look at it realistically,not through the rose colored glasses that the admissions officer wants you to see through.
