I am an average out of state student who was hoping for a school where there was at least a bit of campus life. The only way you have friends on campus is if you are involved in student affairs or the other clubs on campus. But even when I was an RA and a member of Greek Life, the people there are extremely stuck up and self-absorbed. The classes have all types of people which is great until you have crazy people/felons in the class. Oh and FYI Campus Public Safety does not carry firearms and since any one can approach the campus, don't be surprised if another random crazy man points a gun at one of our officers. The Criminal Justice department was actually not too bad but you do not have the chance to meet and get to know your professors unless you are not the average, typical students since the old, crazy people always take up any chance you have after class or during office hours to talk to the professors. If you are an out of state student, DON'T GO HERE! Waste of money, and there is nothing to do unless you are 21.
