During my time at AU, I absolutely loved it. The program that I was in was well run and supportive. Part of my grad program was in the Peace Corps, so after I completed my classwork, I headed off to serve. During my time abroad, the director of the program was terminated for "political" reasons (not sure) and the entire program fell apart. I came back to find that I had no idea of what was going on or what was expected. I finally finished my work and walked in the graduation in May. I waited for my diploma for a couple of months, called the school only to find that they didn't agree with the former director that I had completed my coursework! No one bothered to call me about this. I only found out when I spoke to the graduate assistant to the program. Thanks. Eventually, after two more months of agonizing phone calls, they agreed to honor the classes, but for a fee. I will never go to that school again and seriously do not recommend it to ANYONE! Don't think it couldn't happen to you!
