in college one meets people from all walks of life and helps to better understand others. in the field i am in, I deal with people from all walks of life, from politicians and lawyers to drug dealers and sex offenders. I should have developed better listening skills which i developed over the course of time at my job. Students should party less, study more and pay attention/develop listening skills.
