This place is absolutely miserable. The nearest town is 12 miles away, 35 to the nearest one with any sort of amenities (walmart, restaurants, entertainment). The weather is extremely cold, and snow comes very quick up here. This place also lacks any culture at all.

The student body consists of loggers, hicks, hippies, heavy drinkers, stoners, unattractive and fat women, and very few

average college students

Guys, dont expect to find the girls you see on american pie movies, the only half way decent looking girls have boyfriends already, so get ready for them fat chicks. The majority of the students that go here come from money, so if youre less fortunate than them, you may feel out of place here. The students themselves come primarily from new york, pennsylvania, vermont, new hampshire, massachuseets, and maine… So you also have to deal with some very snoody rich new englanders.

Life up here is very dull, after a while you get very sick of only having hiking, fishing, hunting, and canoeing to do up here… Many students drink and smoke pot because there is nothing to do. The nearest town has no night life, or any activities to do (unless you are 21 to go in the bars).

The campus itself has very few activities, and clubs dont get very engaged in doing anything. The school is a huge waste of money, and is very very costly. I feel like this place is robbing me, considering you dont get a whole lot out of this place. As for classes, they either are a total waste of money (extremely easy), or extremely difficult and require an unnecessary amount of work. Scheduling is very hard since classes are very small and the ones you need/want fill up right away… so you get stuck taking BS classes you dont want to take. Teachers are hit or miss. You either get a very experienced, qualified teacher that knows what theyre talking about, or you get some moron the school hired to teach a class. Its very hard to get a good all-round class since most people would not want to live is this cold wasteland in the middle of nowhere.

Living off campus can be difficult. There are very very very few places to rent, and chances are, they are expensive, and/or far from campus.

Overall, i personally hate this place. I wish i never came here to begin with. If youre the deer killing, tree cutting, pickup driving, beer loving, pot smoking, fat chick loving type… this place fits your niche. If you want a good college experience that involves anything else than stated, dont even waste your time looking at this place.
