Major: Political Science (This Major's Salary over time)
I initially decided to come to this school as a forensics major and if you are going to this school for a forensics/criminal justice major or anything within the henry c. lee college then it's a great choice. outside of those few majors the school treats you as if you are almost non existant, which i found out really fast when i switched my major to political science half way through freshman year. the course work is at a community college level at best in most classes, there are very few professors (i've only seen about three or four for my entire major), and they don't provide opportunities for you (for example internships). even law school prep opportunities and various law and government organization based internships ect are offered first to those in criminal justice or legal studies and then if spots are open other majors may get a chance. on top of all that the social life is lackluster. Unless you plan on going into the city to go to the clubs each weekend there isn't much in the way of partying as it is a very non party school, and i have yet to see more than a handful of clubs and organizations on campus that are not directly linked to the science based or criminal justice based majors.
