Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
If you plan on doing computer science, engineering or information technology, do not go to NYIT (Manhattan campus). The school doesn't have sufficient equipment in the teaching rooms to effectively teach the students.Pros: Awesome Location, Decent amount of computers(see cons), You will pass if you put in a little bit of effort.Cons: Ridiculously expensive (tuition has gone up $1,000 each year since I started), Most of the computers aren't in common areas that are accessible by all students. Professors sometimes don't show up to class without even notifying students, school computers have viruses, half of the bathrooms in the building are locked at all times, there have been a few thefts in the library, rude IT department workers who eat in the computer labs and kick you out if you even bring food without opening it. Don't let the scholarship fool you. They give it out to everyone and even with the scholarship, this school is not worth it.
