Looking back, McGill University, although not being my first choice, was the right choice. The student body is diverse, extra-curricular activities endless and the campus (and surrounding city) alive.

The courses are tough, both in terms of the concepts being taught, but in terms of workload, presentations and other activities and events. In management, the core courses are very theoretical, so the best way to put this information to use is through involvement in events, clubs and case competitions. The only problem them is learning to balance sports, extra-curriculars with school work and your social life (which, living in Montreal, will no doubt be incredible).

Better yet is the fusion of French and Anglophone cultures here, where you can get by with either, but all in all, you are better off knowing (or picking up on) both. McGill is surrounded by other universities and campuses as well, including Concordia University, Universit? de Laval, Universit? du Qu?bec ? Montr?al, so there are countless opportunities to expand your social network beyond that of McGill.

So, to summarize, McGill university is the right place for you if you are open-minded, social, adventurous, independent, hard-working, organized and driven.
