I play basketball. If it weren't for the program, I wouldn't have even been looking at the school. Although, when i did see it. I was very impressed. I liked the small campus feel. The campus was beautiful. On the flip side, The coaching staff take the athletics way too far and make it seem like we are some big time division one school. (But we can't compete like a division one school) The fan base in non existent, Only athletes support each other, yet the NARPs (Non-Athletic Random People) come and get the parties raided every weekend. Other than the baseball, and lacrosse houses, there are not many parties. Unless you want to venture off to the towers to find some small party that I would call more like a get together. After the first couple weeks of school, campus gets dirtier and dirtier. Faculty members "attempt" to clean. (Monday-Friday ONLY) Any work orders take a minimum of 1 week to even get looked at. And by the time something actually gets fixed is about 2-3 weeks. Campus life isnt there, a lot of time things are going on, on the weekends. Although most people go home for the weekend so its usually a ghost town. Living on campus is a bust because you don't really receive the college experience you expect when going away. Maybe its just because i am a city girl that i need something to do and im not content with aimlessly walking around campus and "hanging out" in the chat with friends. I want to go out-out. The academic part of school is the highlight of Arcadia. The staff is very knowledgable and happy to help. They are very informative on whatever topic you need help in, and if they are unsure of the answer, they will direct you to someone who will know the answer. Recourses are available if you need help with writing so tutoring or anything related to school work. Food in the dinning hall is pretty horrible, aside from the weekends when you need that waffle and ice cream, or that plate of bacon to pick you up from the pounding headache after a good night. Stick with the chat for the other meals. Just stay clear of the women with the corn rolls. She hates the world so shell just bring your mood down.
