I am a concrete industry management student (not one of the options) and I love the program but wish to be challenged a little bit more. I will be transferring to an engineering school in the near future. The CIM staff is wonderful and Dr. Brown has been a huge help with advising and finding jobs/internships. I cant say enough good things about the program other than I wish to be challenged a bit more.

Most people who come here either didn't get into their school of choice, or are majoring in recording industry, Aerospace (pilot, ATC, etc.) or Concrete like me. Those 3 majors are some of the best in he county here.

Now on the other hand with the social life, thats a different story. No body stays here over the weekend. here is a quote from a text i just recieved from a new kid I met in class after I asked him what he was doing tonight (friday). and this is very typical at this school :

I'll be Nashville Mike. you know nobody stays here on the weekends, come on man.

That pretty much sums up the school. only bar worthwhile here is gentalman jims which is pretty boring. however if you like to dance and get free beer whisky dix is a lot of fun and across the street from them is a place ALWAYS playing live music because of all the music majors here and being so close to nashville.
