I had just registered for the Winter semester at HFCC. Before applying for this college, I did some background research and found mostly negative comments about this college and it's staff. I figured I'd take a chance and visit the college, and see for myself if what everyone is saying is true. I was blown away at the staff's friendliness and how much they had helped me since day one. I thought that since I'm an independent student, registering to a new college would be very challenging for me but I regained all of my motivation because of how helpful the staff was to me and how much they went out of their way to make sure I was doing what I needed to do. They actually called me back after I'd leave an email and they also reminded me of deadlines I had no idea about. I am leaving Wayne State University with a smile and I feel like this is the best college to continue my education. I am so excited to begin!
