I love this school. I've only been here for a year or so and it' s home to my friends and I. The professors are leaning out to help with any questions or problems to the point where they can set up your own time to sit one on one. That's what I needed to have and that's what I got. I'm top 13% of my H.S. graduated class and I learn quick but it's always nice to have support and understanding. Students are also very welcoming and friendly! The campus is not that big so you can recognize similar faces and meet new friends at the library, gym or even in a class(: Some people don't like the fact that the school resides in a very small town and give TLU a bad name. Before coming to the school you should know that it is surrounded my land and a comfy small town love. San Antonio and San Marcos are only 30 minutes away if you want to go shopping or on a night out. TLU was my last choice when graduating H.S. but after I got awarded a great scholarship (which most people get) I came down to visit and fell in love with the beautiful campus. Even if you're not sure about which college you want to attend I think you should form your own opinions and not a perspective that others put on you. Just visit TLU and if it's not for you then that's fine. Hope you this has helped (: !
