I am writing this comment as a student who is a semester away from graduating.

Millersville is a decent school. Like other have said, college is what you make it. There are some things that suck such as class registrations (if you are not an upperclassman),and sitting in classes where just about every student in the class doesn't participate in the discussions.

There are visible minorities, but for the most it is overwhelmingly white. Race relations aren't awful but we all aren't holding hands and singing kumbaya. Most people usually hang out with those of their race but I believe it is because they come from the same environment or graduated from the same school.

Campus is pretty much a ghost town come Friday due to the fact that there is not much to do, and most people go home during the weekend. Millersville is located in the middle of nowhere, so many who come from big cities experience culture shock. There are three buses. One that goes around campus, another that goes to downtown Lancaster and another that goes to park city mall.

Overall my four years have been okay, but I am ready to graduate and move on. My advice is to use ratemyprofessors when looking for classes to take, and if you can move out of the dorms (the communal bathrooms are disgusting and 9/10 you will be placed with a roommate you won't like).
