I am a very liberal, free thinking individual and Baylor can appear slightly cold to those of us who prefer the arts over sciences. I would advise those of you looking to develope your creative strengths to cast a wider net of schools you may possibly attend. I got accepted at NYU and Berkley and I wish I would have givien them more consideration. I have really enjoyed my time at Baylor, I found my way into a sorority and worked my way to the top of my craft, which is actually in Film and Digital Media. I just feel the creativity ceiling pushing down on me and stunting the growth of students in multiple departments. I will say that Baylors study abroad department is excellent. My sister and I both studiet abroad during our time at Baylor and now she is living in Spain! The professors are excellent, though not super accessible—they do deeply care for the students and watching them do well. You will stumble upon one or two that really don't care about anyone but them selves but the university shuffles them out pretty quickly.
