Major: Other (This Major's Salary over time)
UTI is a good school in a bad economy. I received my AOS from UTI in 2001 and entered the job market as a technician before joining the military in response to Sept 11/2001. This is the bottom line, do you really want to be a service technician swapping parts and diagnosing intermittent electrical problems for 20+ years? If so, UTI is a good place to go if you're willing to work hard. I received the student of the phase award six times, was shop foreman five times, was on the dean's list ten times, and left with a 4.0 GPA, that's the kind of commitment it takes to go straight from UTI into a real mechanic's job. If you don't want to swap parts (I found out that I didn't after all) and if you don't want to work that hard, go to your local community college and study something else.
