She cares more about Surrounding City than the average student.
Date: Jan 21 2013 Major: Unknown (This Major's Salary over time) North park is not for me. The school is very pro Swedish, Covenant, and Generational, and if you don't fall under those categories you can feel isolated at times. I came here with a positive attitude expecting to love it but was prettu surprised and let down. The schools smallness makes me feel like I am still in high school. There are very distinct cliques and very few are willing to budge on who their friends are (which is determined in the first week or so) The food is absolutely terrible and I will leave it at that because there is no other way to describe it. Worse than camp food. I get a judge mental vibe from many people here on campus even though I try to stay friendly and open to everyone. The faculty is pretty unfriendly as well…especially student services. They are rude and act like your questions are bothering them and pretty much try to get you out of there ASAP. The activities on campus are pretty built up and are usually very disappointing. I once walked in on a Zumba class with two participants… Anyway we are also located in a bad neighborhood so it's hard to go off and explore. I am a female and feel really uncomfortable walking off campus alone. The school also does not offer a u pass (for train fare) so trying to have fun adds up pretty quickly. Many of the people who go here are obsessed with it. I am just not one of those people.
