may not be a “party school” or a brand name
Ivy, but it truly has several great attributes: it's a
smaller university, so you are a person here and can
actually easily get into contact with whomever you need to,
there are sooo many resources available- for everything from resume
writing offices to the writing resource center to personal librarians-
and the people themselves possess none of the snobbiness that
might come out of attending a high-level school. People are
very friendly and kind; if you need help, they will
genuinely help you instead of prank you. Students are hardworking
and humble. There is a downside, however: There are very
few people here who aren't majoring in some kind of
professional area, and if you're not, expect to find it
more difficult to get your social niche or people who
like what you do if your interests are in that
area. That being said, no one is going to hold
it against you.
