Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU) needs to be carefully looked at when thinking to choose this college. I entered this college happy, secure, and not harmed. I'm at the end and will be leaving annoyed, frustrated,and harmed. This school has affected me in a negative way, which is not what people expect to get out of college or have as a college experience.

CAPS has an employee that tells students they were not raped even though they really were and have proof of it. So called professional also screws around with students medication when the employee only cares about doing what their wants by only looking at what benefits their needs at the time(use students at time when something will benefit them). CAPS does NOT look at the value or context of a student's or their care. Also, goes out of their way to break medical confidentiality and HIPPA Privacy Rights this is done by speaking with faculty members from your program regarding your medical care and medication, which is ethically wrong.

The school and CAPS protects students who engage in harming, harassing, and stalking other students. Also, the school and CAPS protect those who engage in raping and sexually assaulting other students.

The school and CAPS facilitates and protects bullies and looks the other way because it benefits them and is easier than doing their jobs, which would be the correct, ethical, and moral way.

Forget Privacy Rights and HIPPA Privacy Rights when you enter this school. Be fore warned their is no individuality and no value for the students. Also, be prepared to have e-mails that support your side in something deleted.

When entering this college be prepared to be lied to.

Be ready to have your schedule automatically changed with no regard to your own life or reasons to why the student set their schedule up.

When students come in and then make it to the end some how faculty, program administration, advising, and other resources seem to forget who you are, what track they put you in to meet your needs. Its even worse when your related to the people and they know who you are and what they set up but choose to do something that supports benefiting them and the school more than the student, which is also their own relative. Also, these people will choose to punish or hurt you and protect your enemy, whom is a person who raped you, harass, stalk and then involved others to sexually assault you.

If you still choose this school after reading and understanding the above do NOT choose to live at North Lake Village this is an extreme fore warning! You will need extra money to change rooms, locks, get a nanny cam, record when being harassed by those who have done the above to you(yes, housing knows but still places you with the person who has harmed you, and be prepared to have to continually tell housing your Attorney Advised you to move because the first two times housing does not understand.
