While I do love my major (Fashion) the staff is unapproachable, the advisors give you terrible advice and are very rude. The students are already in their cliques by the time you start Freshman year so there is little room to make new friends. Many of the students only care about partying, which there aren't much of in Montclair. If you want a party school go to Rutgers. The GenEd's are very annoying and some of the required classes are a pain, but there are some very good professors who will challenge you in your work. It's a good school, but it could be a LOT better.
