If you are considering this University APPLY - I have been to three different universities from the East Coast all the way to Montana, and this is by far, the nicest most healthy, sane, safe, friendly campus environment I could ever imagine experiencing. I love it here. It's small size makes for a really awesome environment for actually being able to focus on studies, meet people and get to know your teachers and people in your department. The professors in the forestry/resource conservation department are all extremely intelligent, dedicated and beyond helpful and kind. If you are from far away and unsure if Montana will mean going to the middle of nowhere and not meeting anybody, you are MISTAKEN - This school is just a little bubble of healthy, driven students who just do their work, eat well, care about their environment and just are all around good healthy people with good healthy philosophies!
