Major: Computer Science (This Major's Salary over time)
Southern Utah University is such an amazing school. I came here to study Information Systems and I cannot say anything bad about this institution of learning. The class sizes are small and every professor I have had so far knows every student's name. You have the ability to meet a new person every day, but establish lasting friendships at the same time. I lived on campus this year (and will do so again this next year). Many people complain about the cost, but you are paying for the EXPERIENCE. No where else will you find such a family-like atmosphere with built in study groups. I suggest that freshmen especially get involved with one of the leadership groups on campus. It allows you to be more involved with the university, meet more people, and build up your resume. Overall, this experience I have had so far has been fantastic. College is stressful (I have 18 credit hours, a part time job, and leadership), but the experience is well worth any stress you have. Cedar City is a beautiful place to be and SUU is an amazing school. GO THUNDERBIRDS!
