Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
I'm a sophomore geography major and I think the geography department is pretty amazing. I've been surprised by the quality of the teaching, helpfulness of the teachers, and challenging quality of the coursework. The geography department makes me want to push and challenge myself because the teachers are so passionate about what they're teaching and the success of the students. The other departments I've taken classes from have been much less satisfying, so what I've said about the geography department definitely does not apply to the rest of the school. UNT is good for people not really interested in Greek Life or spending all of their time on campus, but it's a very good fit for me and I like it a lot.
