I am in the military and almost finished my business admin degree and I am looking at starting in Construction Engineering. I bought my first house already. I am a 25 year old sergeant and have a very technical job. I have about 15 different marketable civilian certifications. If I got out right now i have several jobs i can work. I have traveled Asia and am now in Europe. If your son is the genius you paint him out to be, he will be just fine. Believe it or not we are not all idiots. |
Damn, nig?!? |
Major: Biology (This Major's Salary over time)
You think once you get your son out of high school the military recruiters will be a thing of the past. Not at MSU. Seems they come to campus often. My son finished 1st semester with 5 A's and 1 B. Yeah really good, right? Well next thing you know we are getting a call that he has joined the Marines. Seems the recruiters were on campus and now his college dreams are a thing of the past (atleast for the next many years). What the heck are those people thinking? His father and I did't spend thousands of dollars to send him to an out-of-state college to have him join the military. An honor student in high school, honor student in college and poof all that is now gone. I appreciate that he wants to serve his country like his father and brother but what the heck? I didn't spend many of thousands of $'s to send him to college so a recruiter could whisk him away. If you want to send your child to MSU, I suggest you rethink that decision.
