Mercer is one of the most beautiful campuses in the nation. The architecture is gorgeous and the city of Macon is large and full of history! However, the city itself is pretty dangerous and there is a serious racial divide. The good aspect of this situation, however, is that Macon is the best city for people who want to volunteer and give back to the community. An education from Mercer is highly respected, especially since many people refer to Mercer as an "Ivy League of the South." Honestly, an AMAZING school that will provide an unforgettable college experience. So much to do and so many ways to become involved!
