Major: Engineering Department (This Major's Salary over time)
My college Algebra class is ridiculously tough. They cover so much ground in such a short period that I am falling further and further behind. I came here because of the small school size and low student to teacher ratio. But most of my classes are taught by TA's who themselves are working on their thesis and are under great pressure. So they can be impatient and expect you to get everything real fast. I am a non-conventional student and did not have the benefit of a stable life course whereas I would have been able to develop a mathematical foundation earlier in life. Some people in my class have already failed this class twice.
