please excuse my English. am an international student. i have not liked GEORGIA STATE one bit. i am here to try to go to med school. there is a distinct favoratism given to black pre med students and it is not fair. they already get free tuition and other forms of money and will get in if they just keep showing up. the campus grounds are very dirty and unclean. Police drive around in circles for whole day without stepping out of the car. the crime level is very high in Atlanta. GSU students become victims of crime very often. i think that the school has poor reputation. many students who are American citizens have idea to transfer colleges to others in state. financial aid is a very big problem at GSU. many international students in USA but there is never enough money to help us. we work and support our college tuition. meanwhile other students commit crime and party nonstop and still receive scholarship through H.O.P.E. program. my department is not so bad but there are still issues with proper equipment and professors. so please if any student is an international student please consider a different university
