My ratings may seem contradictory and they're meant to be. My department, program, and major is among the top four at the school. These three are excellent departments with excellent faculty. That said, outside these select few, the departments are broken. Many faculty should not be tenured, let alone on staff.

As for social life, well, my high school was a bit better than this. Your education is what you make of it, and I took the best I could find out of this university. I'll be leaving shortly in order to better my opportunities and you should probably do the same. If you're in one of the good departments, you'll get a fine education. Just be prepared for the narrow-minded students, high school drama, immaturity, jocks, douchebags, sluts, skanks, and etc. It's present elsewhere but here it exceeds normal levels.

Oh, and by the way, if you find good people, STICK WITH THEM. OR transfer out with them.
