I applied to Juniata because the online application was free. I was very surprised when the college decided, seemingly out of no where, to consider me for a fellowship solely based on my academic record and SAT/ACT scores.

I traveled to the campus for an interview for this fellowship. My expectations were low. However, they scheduled a tour of the campus for me when I was in for my interview, and that tour was enough to make me love the campus.

I was skeptical about Juniata from the beginning, and became less and less so over time up until my first week of the freshman semester. Then, I knew that I loved Juniata.

It's true! I love it here! I am applying to be "peer leaders" for various campus activities so that I can talk to skeptical prospective students / freshmen and let them know that I, too, judged Juniata by its size instead of by its quality.
