Major: Journalism (This Major's Salary over time)
NKU is conveniently located to Cincinnati offering lots of great opportunities for internships and jobs. Although a public university, major classes are similar in size of that of a private college. The exterior is not the best, but is considered to be modern architecture- many students refer to it as the "concrete jungle". The faculty, at least in the history, english, and communication buildings, are over-certified. They focus on the success of their students, rather than the paycheck. The campus has a close-knit community with over 200 social and academic clubs to partake in. You often will see the university president eating in the SU. The staff are very transparent and easy to contact. The Financial Office is strict on paying tuition, but are considerate and helpful with finding loans and scholarships. I haven't once regretted my decision to attend NKU.
