I've loved my 4 years here because of the great people I've met and fun I've had. However, the University of Idaho as a school is unimpressive. The campus is nice and not too big. I've lived on campus for four years and it has been great. The dorms are nice (the Tower was great, the LLC's are very fancy but not quite as social). The cafeteria is all-you-can-eat and the food is good, though it doesn't stay open very late anymore which is too bad. The other places to eat on campus are generic. There is a Denny's, an Einsteins Bagels, and some themed places to eat. Intramural sports on campus are always a lot of fun, and a fun way to meet people. The rec center is really nice, but not very big. The climbing wall is EXCELLENT. There aren't enough basketball courts. Tennis courts, racquetball courts, and the pool are scattered across campus, not in the rec center. The campus outdoor program is great. They run great events (mountain bike mondays, ski/snowboard trips).

I am a business major (Information Systems) and cannot recommend the College of Business here. The college has tried to be unique in past years by requiring business students to complete the IBC (Integrated Business Curriculum). It is a bad way to learn, as it is all just cramming before tests. I also had an IBC professor who couldn't speak English. I feel very unprepared for a career in Information Systems, but I do have a job lined up as soon as I graduate. Go to another school if you want a business degree. The computer science and geography departments are great here though. Geography is a really small department, and you will quickly know everyone, which is nice.

Moscow is an ok town to live in. There isn't a lot here, but there is always something going on every night, plus Pullman is only a few minutes away. Moscow Mountain is only 15 minutes from town and is an excellent place to mountain bike. Hundreds of miles of trails. If you mountain bike, you will love it.

Bottom line: The University of Idaho is what you make of it. You can have a lot of fun here, but the College of Business is not very good.
