The faculty at this school is so unhelpful. If you call one department for a question that they SHOULD be able to answer, they refer you to another department. I never feel like I get the answers I am looking for when talking to any staff (Student Advisement Center or specific schools). Apart from the staff, the student body is like a small high school with a lot of different cliques. The courtyard (main part of campus) is ALWAYS crowded, where people are rude and won't move out of the way. The University's online system called Desire2Learn rarely ever loads. I constantly have problems accessing my courses. If you are having to apply to a pre-professional school (Nursing, Business, etc.), you cannot meet with an advisor of that specific school until you have 48 hours completed. Each time I tried to meet with a nursing advisor, I was unable to. The staff would place me with a random advisor that knew nothing about the nursing program. It was a waste of my time. Specifically for the nursing school, I turned in my application 2 months ago and they stated we would receive our decisions within 4-6 weeks. It's now been 8 weeks and I have yet to hear anything besides the generic response "The committee is still making decisions…" Overall, nobody is helpful here.
