Major: Geography and Geosciences (This Major's Salary over time)
I love most things about OU, but there is one thing everyone considering this school should be aware of. At the moment, OU is the third most expensive public university in Ohio. That would be fine if that money was being spent wisely, but the perception among students, including myself, is that there is much waste. Before enrolling, be sure to research the OU budget to see where your hard earned dollars will go. If I had to do it all over, I would probably still go here, because I love my department. I am not impressed, however, with the University's tuition hikes, administrative pay raises, and wasted general fee funds while buildings are in dire need to upgrades and maintenance and students are racking up mountains of debt.
