SCAD comes across as a great school, and it has an ability to be a great school, unfortunately it isn't. The school pumps more money into promoting the school than preserving the relationship with their current students. SCAD provides opportunities for extra curricular trips but you have to be selected for it, which limits the already limited trips that are available. The dorms are terrible and they have terrible maintenance. SCAD is more about the money than anything else. I understand its a business but there is a point where you have to respect the people paying you. The majority people that work in the offices are former SCAD students, so that says something. SCAD is great if everything works in your favor, if not it can be a nightmare. Making friends is very difficult unless you are always partying or doing drugs. Also as a straight male it is very difficult because there are few girls that are normal, and you always have other gay men hitting on you since the majority of guys here are gay. Its a rough school and I'm only here because they have a very specific minor that I am looking for but if any other school offered it I would be there in a heartbeat.

questionHi! So, about SCAD and the Performing Arts major (that's what I really want to get into next year) are the professors as nice and helpful as they seem? Because I've visited that school multiple times and they all seem pretty nice. Also, the perforing arts students are really that bad!? As in stuck up and rude or whatever? :(
