Major: Electrical Engineering (This Major's Salary over time)
I went to Texas A&M and I spent one winter and one summer in HCC to get some credits to transfer back. The classes are very easy. Why? Actually some professors in HCC are pretty nice and they are trying to teach you something. Other professors are also friendly but they make classes too easy and you ended up with having learned nothing at all. Actually, I think the major reason why HCC is easy is its student body. Many students in HCC are not motivated and moderately retarded. However, most students are good people, but they happen to be less bright or come from the lower class families. Neither HCC and students are to blame for this. This is an open admission community college! The cost of attedance is very reasonable, most campus buildings are well maintained, but several locations are in bad neighborhoods. West loop campus is my favorite anyway. I don't expect a community college to offer a ton of scholastic excellence, extracurricular activtities…or anything like that.Overall, HCC is perfect to get some credits to transfer while you attend a major four-year university. Warning: HCC is easy. If you transfer from HCC to a four-year college, you will find that all the courseworks become very difficult.
