I just finished up my first semester at the palm beach campus, and I have to say, this college is not bad at all. People are friendly, there's a wide range of people from different backgrounds so you'll find people to get along with. Campus is not too bad, bathrooms are kept clean, classrooms are just fine. There are some fine ladies walking around, no doubt about it. Some handsome fellas as well for the ladies reading this.I used ratemyprofessor.com, and have had great teachers for all 4 of my classes. I'd suggest using that site and registering for classes within the first few days that registry opens up so that you don't get stuck with a crap professor who makes life difficult for you. I have a 4.0 average so far, and while I most definitely had to do work to get that, it wasn't obscene or overly difficult at all. Do the work, go to class, you'll get b's and a's. The student learning center is really helpful, the math lab is helpful. The campus is laid out pretty intuitively, I had no problem finding my way around without going to orientation or anything. The advisors here are great, most definitely take advantage of them. No one is going to baby sit you here, it's up to you to make stuff happen and plan out what your doing/why your there. I'm planning on getting a 4.0 average and transferring to a good school. I've spent time at Suffolk University and Bunker Hill CC in Boston, and Palm Beach State is on par with both. I actually like it better than either of them.So in conclusion, if your looking for an AA, this is a great place to do it. I'd imagine you could do worse than a bachelors degree from here, but I see no reason not to transfer to a higher tier school and get the bachelors there. It's cheaper to get it from PBSC, but it doesn't have the allure say, UMiami does, when your searching for jobs.
